Our Story
Our winery has more than 140 years of history, starting in the cellar under the house of our great-great grandfather, Jenaro Perfecto Martinez. Our old-vine vineyards in the Rioja Alavesa region benefit from a special microclimate with favorable winds and special clay-calcareous soil. Our specialty is Tempranillo - the variety grown by our ancestors for over 100 years. Production is limited to 3,000 cases ... we take care of every detail, from the vineyard to the bottle! Our winemaking follows a very natural process, the same way our family has been making wines for generations.
